Phileas — Artificial Intelligence and Creativity

At Phileas, our unit specialized in AI applied to creativity, marketing, and business, we set out to create a film for a brand positioning campaign—one with an emotional and inspiring tone, designed to connect with a business audience through audiovisual codes that differ from those typically found in the sector. At its core, the piece reflects our vision: the importance of human intelligence as the driving force behind artificial intelligence, both in service of creativity. Because every technology needs a perspective to guide it, an idea to structure it, and an intention to make it meaningful.
From the outset, every creative decision responded to that same vision. We chose an animated illustration style that allowed us to build a distinctive visual universe—more symbolic and evocative—moving away from the literal or purely technological aesthetics that dominate the sector, as well as from the hyper-realistic pieces that increasingly flood AI forums.
The narrative is structured as an epic journey—a direct reference to Phileas Fogg, the literary character created by Jules Verne who inspires our brand—understanding intelligence as a path of discovery, exploration, and transformation. In contrast to the more rational and functional narratives that prevail in professional services, we deliberately pursued a warmer, more emotional and aspirational tone. At Darwin & Verne, we believe that true connection with an audience is built through emotion—even when we are talking about technology.
Developed as an animated piece, the film was produced entirely by our team through a combination of advanced AI tools. From the generation of visual and conceptual references, to animation, music production, and voiceover in multiple languages, every stage was approached with a human-led vision and executed entirely through artificial intelligence.
This project is also the result of the collaboration between Visual Noise and Phileas. On one side, Visual Noise as an augmented creative studio, with advanced AI capabilities integrated into its processes. On the other, Phileas as a specialized unit in consulting and developing AI- driven solutions for marketing and communication. The combination of both capabilities allowed us to approach the project from a holistic perspective, where AI is not just a tool, but a true engine for creation.
Far from being a purely technological exercise, the project was built in service of an idea and a narrative. A process in which creative direction, storytelling, and intention were the foundation for every decision.
The result is a piece that not only explores new technical possibilities, but also reflects on the role of intelligence—both human and artificial—in today’s creative processes, and invites dialogue. It is an exploration of a new territory where creativity and technology evolve together, opening new paths for expression and production.
